## ANGLES IN THE CORNER OF A PLOT, ANGULAR / VIDISHA PLOTS

It is always advisable to have 900 angels at all the corners of the plot. Square or rectangular plots are best. The straight lines of a square or rectangle represent order. A bulge in a house spoils a house’s corner, because two sides no longer meet at right angles, the corners are very important spots as they receive energy from both sides. To benefit, the corners must be formed by straight walls. A bad corner can cause severe setbacks. A bad South-East corner affects the health of the family and weakens its capacity to work. A spoilt North-West corner causes money loss, even bankruptcy. A bad South-West corner can be particularly disastrous.

North-East corner of a plot if is less than 900 is auspicious, but it should never be more than 900. South-East corner should be more than or equal to 900. South-West corner should Always be of 900 exact. North-West should be more than or equal to 900.

In this context, it is important to evaluate Gau-Mukhi and Sher-Mukhi plots once again. As mentioned earlier Gau-Mukhi plots, i.e. plots which are narrow in front and broad at back, are considered auspicious for residential purposes. It is important also to note the orientation and the angles of such plots e.g. if the Gau-Mukhi plot is North facing then its North-East angle is more than 900 which is inauspicious and South-West and South-East are less than 900 which is also inauspicious. It is important therefore to keep all the principles in mind while deciding about the plot.

VIDISHA PLOTS or ANGULAR PLOTS

The plots which are oriented towards the angles and not the cardinal directions are called Vidisha or Angular plots. The roads in these plots can be on the NE, SE, NW or SW directions. Plots with road/roads on NE give auspicious results. Plots with Roads on SW are unsuitable for residential purposes but can be used for commercial purposes taking care that entrance is not made in S-W.

Important: It is important that construction in vidisha plots is parallel to the boundaries of the plot and not parallel to the cardinal directions.

More open space should be left in the North-East of such plots. The roads in North of North-East, East of North-East, South of South-East and West of North-West are auspicious.

Any roads pointing at South of South-West, South-West or West of South-West are very inauspicious.

Vidisha Plots Suitability

Only NE plots i.e. where there is road on NE side are auspicious for residential purposes. Plots which have road on their NW and SE sides are suitable for only certain types of business.

Suitable for residential and all kinds of commercial activities i.e. Shop, Office, Factory, Hotel etc.

Suitable for commercial activities which use fire elements. Best for Restaurants, Eatables, Bakery, Automobiles, Engine, Building Material, Marble, Tiles, Temples etc.

Residence, Shop, Showroom, Factory, Garages, Petrol pump, Cinema Hall, Air-conditioning, Agricultural Equipment.

Unsuitable for Residences. Best for Hospital, Nursing Home, Clinic, Bar, Casino, Tires, Instruments and Medical Store.

Important Points for Construction on Vidisha Plots

1. Leave more open space in NE of these plots.
2. Constructions should be parallel to the boundaries of the plot.
3. Rectify any extensions or reductions in the angles of these plots.
4. South and West directions of the plot must meet at 900.
5. Construction of Basement must be only in N, E and NE.
